Never Alone
"How can someone be surrounded by so many people yet feel all alone?" This is the thought that went through my mind last week as I was sitting on my bed. Immediately the Lord spoke to me. He said "you will never be alone because I am always here." So many times we hear & read the words of Jesus, "I will never leave you or forsake you," but at this moment it hit me like a ton of bricks. I didn't even have time to dwell on the thought, or sit there and allow myself to be depressed because my heavenly Father jumped right in. Oh how He loves us!
So many of us are surrounded by family, friends, co-workers, etc.. but there are times we just feel all alone. I don't want to make light of the fact that this feeling is real. This is why some turn to drugs and alcohol, which lead to suicide and other tragedy's. We alienate ourselves from the outside world and turn to things that we think can take away the pain. Please don't read into this...I am not at this point in my life. I am just being transparent and stating facts. We cannot allow the enemy to have the victory over our thoughts and minds. We must submit them to the Lord and cast them down.
(2 Corinthians 10:5) No matter what we struggle with we must bring it to the Lord and lay it at the foot of the cross. We must believe that what Christ did over 2,000 years ago is enough and that we already have the victory. Faith is the key!
God is there - He desires for us to come to Him. He wants to hear from us, He wants to talk to us. Cry out to Him, sit at His feet and give it to Him then allow Him to minister to you. Receive all that He has for you. It's not always easy but with God all things are possible and He cares about you (us).
I am thankful for my family and friends - for all they do for me. They have been my strength in times of weakness, but I am forever thankful that my heavenly Father will ALWAYS be there with me!
Enjoyed and joined.....Blessings, T
